So you’ve been approved for the home. Now what?
- Provide Move-In Documents, such as Renter’s Insurance, Animal Docs (Rabies, Proof of Flea Treatments, etc.), and other items discussed with your property manager.
- Log in to your portal to pay your Move-In costs (or be prepared with a Cashiers Check to exchange for keys).
- Schedule your Move-In appointment. Plan for about an hour to give enough time to exchange final move in costs for keys, and do a thorough walk through of the property.
At the Move-In Appointment, our property manager will take photos as you write down condition notes. Those written notes will be signed and uploaded into your portal for access any day or night. They will also be used to compare condition of the home when you move out. Understand that typical wear will not be charged.
Be thorough in your condition notes. And if you can’t find your copy in your portal, reach out to the main office and make your request. We can print a copy, if you prefer a hard copy, but you need to ask for it.
